Attune to our great mother Earth, the living goddess, to awaken the deep wisdom you hold within your own being.
During this retreat, we enter a process of freeing ourselves from society’s conditioning, activating each woman’s potential and freedom of expression.
We will cast a sacred circle, to connect deeply with the Earth and re-embody our strength. Together we will release, forgive and let go what is holding us back. Through movement, meditation, tuning into nature, sharing, art and ceremony, each woman will develop her vision of a deep and meaningful life. We will be united in sisterhood, bringing forth love, understanding and community, supporting each other in our quests. I will hold the space and connection to make this possible.
Once home to priestesses, the power of this island’s mystical places as well as the waters of the Adriatic sea will be the backbone of our process of transformation. We will make our home in nature, fall asleep to her sounds and enjoy delicious vegetarian food.
The picturesque, calm surroundings of the Gea Viva retreat camp invite you to experience the mystic and creative powers of nature.
Retreat Structure
Our group will be together from 9.00 - 13.00 every day and we will share a few evening sessions. This retreat includes a one to one transformational healing treatment. Most afternoons are free to allow time to rest, to spend time on the beach and recharge your batteries.
The retreat starts on the first day at 18.00 hrs and finishes after breakfast on the leaving day.
The venue
Gea Viva is located in a peaceful olive grove, away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream tourism. Being completely off-grid, Gea Viva is dedicated to simple and true eco living in close contact with nature. We will spend all our time outdoors and are free to express ourselves in many ways.
Retreat facilitator
Sabine Engelhardt is passionate about re-connecting with the sacred feminine, empowering women to walk their path and finding their unique self expression. Guided by a message received in meditation to be a guardian of the mysterious dragon’s cave, she was led to the island Brač and has been living there in nature for the last eleven years, exploring the wisdom of the priestesses who once lived there.
Cultivating a dialogue with the sacred, unseen layers of the Earth as well as getting her hands dirty, she feels that to live in harmony with the Earth, it is vital to connect with one‘s inner truth and re-balance male and female energies.
A geomancer, Yoga teacher and eco architect, she is the founder of Gea Viva.
Food and Practicalities
We have a fully equipped kitchen on site, and will prepare vegetarian meals jointly. If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know in the registration form.
Please note that alcohol, drugs and meat are not consumed on site.
Gea Viva is within easy walking distance from the sea and the village Milna, which has grocery shops, restaurants, bars, cash points, a currency exchange, a doctor, a pharmacy and a post office.

Tiny house

This unique tiny house has two double beds, electricity, an indoor seating area and a private terrace with sea views. Bedding and bedlinen is provided. Please bring your own towels.
Glamping hut

The glamping huts have 1-2 camping beds, battery lights, reed roofs for shade and private terraces with sea views. Bedding and bedlinen is provided. Please bring your own towel.
Tent

If you would really like to get in touch with the Earth, bring your own tent. Alternatively you can hire a trekking tent, matt, sleeping bag and pillow from us.
Own camper van
695 € camper up to 7m
Our dedicated camper spaces are within the campsite. As we have an off-grid solar system we cannot supply electric power. You are welcome to use the shared fridge.
We have screened off outdoor solar showers and compost toilets. Sockets for charging appliances are in the kitchen.

Booking and deposit
To secure your place on the course, please pay the deposit of 200 Euros at the time of your registration. Payments are by bank transfer in Euros or in cash. The deadline for registrations is the 23rd June. We offer an early bird discount of 10% for bookings before 15th May.
For cancellations up to one month in advance of the event, we will deduct a handling fee of 50 Euros, and return the remainder of the deposit to you. For cancellations later than one month before the event, the deposit is non-returnable and for cancellations later than one month before the event, the entire fee is due.
