Retreat facilitators

At the age of three, Laura Erceg-Simon’s mother gave her a sewing needle, which she has not put down ever since. Laura went to a Steiner school, is a trained actress who is married and has two children.

In 2012 Friedl entered her life, and Laura works as a clown for the Red Noses in hospitals, elderly people’s homes and refugee camps, travelling to imaginative archaic anarchic lands and planets, stumbling, surprised by any failure and happy whenever she manages to start over - the usual existence of a clown.

Laura learned from her mother how to make dolls, who always made Steiner dolls, whenever they were required at school. Now it is Laura’s task to continue the doll making tradition.

Sabine Engelhardt is passionate about re-awakening the sacred feminine, empowering women to walk their path and finding their unique self expression. Guided by a message received in meditation to be a guardian of the mysterious dragon’s cave, she was led to the island Brač and lives there in close connection with the Earth.

Cultivating a dialogue with the sacred, unseen layers of the Earth as well as getting her hands dirty, she feels that to live in harmony with the Earth, it is vital to connect with one‘s inner core and re-balance male and female energies.

A shamanic practitioner, Yoga teacher and eco architect, she is the founder of Gea Viva.

The venue

Gea Viva is located in a peaceful olive grove, away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream tourism. Being completely off-grid, Gea Viva is dedicated to simple and true eco living in close contact with nature. We will spend all our time outdoors in beautiful surroundings.

Retreat Structure and Programme

During this retreat we begin our process with getting to know each other and entering a state of deep relaxation. Through bodywork, meditation, a medicine walk and sharing in a sacred circle we will become fully present within ourselves explore our deep inner knowing. Out of this connection each woman will create a healing doll as a mirror of her soul to give her the strength to move forward in alignment with her inner truth.

We will start our day with morning Yoga. After breakfast we will spend time together as a group until lunch. Afternoons are free, so you have time to go for a swim and take it easy.

The retreat starts on the first day at 18.00 hrs and finishes after breakfast on the leaving day.

Food and Practicalities

We have a fully equipped kitchen on site, and will prepare vegetarian meals jointly. If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know in the registration form.

Please note that alcohol, drugs and meat are not consumed at Gea Viva.

Gea Viva is within easy walking distance fo the sea and the village Milna has grocery shops, restaurants, bars, cash points, a currency exchange, a doctor, a pharmacy and a post office.
