Women’s retreat - Feeling safe

Fri, 13th - Sun, 15th May 2022

During this women’s retreat we will enjoy life with all its facets.

Within the safe space of the red tent, the ancient lodge women used to retreat to once a month, we will relax, share our stories, let go of fears and create a sisterhood of mutual support.

In the last few years most of us have lived in fear as a consequence of external threats: the narrative of a deadly microbe and now the potential of war. Many withdrew into their own worlds, function in survival mode, doing the tasks that are required in everyday life or taking to distractions such as extensive use of social media, alcohol or whatever is at hand.

To thrive and be truly healthy, we need to feel safe, re-learn to rest and relax. For this retreat, we will create a red tent, a sensual space to release tension, let go of worries and to form a community with other women to re-discover the beauty of life.

The venue

Gea Viva is a peaceful eco island retreat in an olive grove and has a powerful healing frequency. Located within 15 minutes’ walk from the harbour village of Milna on Brač, it is within easy reach of public transport. For the purpose of this retreat we will create a cosy space to relax.

If travelling from Split, you can take the ferry to Supetar on Friday at 16.30 h, which has a connecting bus to Milna, arriving at 18.15 h. On Sunday there is a catamaran from Milna to Split operated by KSC, leaving at 15.55 h, arriving in Split at 17.00 h.
